Yall people really aren't understanding this situation
Kesar, while yes hes acting like Scar with the mindset of "i can do what i please" theyre in a land that doesn't have the same laws the pridelands have, and also with his no royal training like Nuru had, hes kinda working off what he thinks he knows and what the thinks a king can and should do, so its pretty reasonable for him to assume that he can do what he wants
And to the people saying its Kira's pride, well to argue its just as much Kesar's pride as it is hers, we dont know which lioness led the band of them around, and maybe they didn't, maybe they had a system similar to the Sisters from warrior cats and everyone was kind of a joint leader, then Kesar came and they decided to go from democracy to a monarchy
Not to mention I dont think Kira even DESERVES to be queen, they clearly don't love eachother, Kira seems to only be queen for the status of pride queen, or the queen of the lands theyre in, and she literally just insulted her own, I presume, mate's past instead of being supportive, but nope, she eavesdrops on a conversation she shouldn't have, then instead of saying "damn that's tough, im sorry you had to go through that" and heck, maybe try and offer a way for Miara to be joint queens for the time being, to train her, or even just stay joint queens, but nope, not to mention she calls his history pathetic, literally using all his sadness and shit life and throwing it back in his face, Kesar isn't the bad guy here just because hes inexperienced, Kira is for being just cruel!
